Make It Move!
"Make It Move!" is a traveling interactive science exhibit that will
be featured in the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum second floor
gallery from January 26 through May 3, 2008. Students will experiment
with tops to create a "super spinner;" design a course for a ball to
travel through loop-to-loops, paddle wheels, and across jumps; and
more! A child-sized crane and an excavator allow young visitors to
hook, lift, and scoop objects and materials. Problem-solving
activities featuring gears, pulleys, and levers provide a fun, yet
challenging, experience for younger students.
