SPEND A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM!

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum Patch Program

This year, we have a new patch program-The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum Patch! This patch program is available for all levels of Girl Scouts as a Saturday program or an overnight event. To earn the patch, girls will learn about the history of the St. Augustine Lighthouse, climb the 219 step tower, tour the museum, and do fun arts and crafts projects.

The overnight program includes Lighthouse patch, pizza, snacks, a light breakfast, and all program-related materials. Check-in time is 7pm Saturday night; check-out time is 7am Saturday morning. Troops will sleep in the second floor Gallery of the Keeper's House. Participants may bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and one bag with overnight essentials only-no air mattresses, cots, etc. Sorry, we cannot accommodate siblings or male chaperones. Cost is $30. per Scout, $20. per adult chaperone.

Saturday, October 27 (Brownies)
Saturday, December 1 (Juniors)
Saturday, February 23 (Brownies)
Saturday, May 31 (Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors)

BROWNIES

Saturday Programs for Brownies

Brownies can earn the following Try-Its at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum:

Eco-Explorer
Hobbies
Listening to the Past
St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum Patch (patch included in program fee)

Programs are $10 per Scout, $6 per adult chaperone. Minimum of 10 Scouts required.

Try-Its are not included with the cost of program

JUNIORS

Saturday Programs for Juniors

Juniors can earn the following Badges at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum:

Finding Your Way
Weather Watch
Wildlife
St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum Patch (patch included with program fee)

Programs are $10 per Scout, $6 per adult chaperone. Minimum of 10 Scouts required.

Badges are not included with the cost of program.

CADETTES AND SENIORS

Saturday Programs for Cadettes and Seniors

Cadettes and Seniors can earn the following Interest Project Patches at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum:

All About Birds
Heritage Hunt
Plant Life
St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum Patch (patch included with program fee)

Programs are $10 per Scout, $6 per adult chaperone. Minimum of 10 Scouts required.

Interest Project Patches are not included with the cost of program.

VOLUNTEER AT THE LIGHTHOUSE!

We are always in need of friendly volunteers at the Lighthouse! Earn service hours assisting our visitors with arts and crafts projects! Girl Scouts ages 12 and older may apply to be a St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum Junior Volunteer. We offer training, Lighthouse volunteer t-shirt, awards, incentives, and more!
