Lighthouse Keepers' Bricks

Become part of the historic St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum by paving the way for future generations to enjoy the history and beauty of this national maritime treasure.

Bricks, pavers and commemorative tiles are an excellent way to honor loved ones or mark a special occasion while also helping to preserve the rich past of the St. Augustine Light Station. Your contribution helps our 501(c)(3) non-profit discover, preserve, present and keep alive the stories of our Nation's Oldest Port.

Two separate locations on the lighthouse grounds each offer multiple options for you to choose the perfect spot for your place in history.

Lightkeeper's Path

Tucked inside the courtyard between the Victorian-era Keepers' House and the lighthouse tower, built in 1874, the Lightkeeper's Path connects the north and south sections of the lighthouse grounds. Bricks and pavers along this path are seen by thousands of visitors and offer a pristine location in the tower's shadow.

The Lightkeeper’s Brick

Lightkeeper's Gateway

With a perfect view of our serene maritime hammock, the Lightkeeper's Gateway is located along the back porch of the Visitor's Center. Many of our guided tours begin on the porch and guests often enjoy lingering on the lanai in the afternoon to enjoy the ocean breeze.

The Gateway Brick

The Gateway Paver

The Gateway Tile

16” x 16” │ $1000
May contain a maximum of four lines, with up to 20 characters (including spaces and punctuation) per line. Additional space may allow for additional characters, call for details.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, a not-for-profit organization, now operates and maintains the Lighthouse & Museum. 
In 2002, the tower was deeded to the Museum, one of the first in the country to be turned over to a not-for-profit organization by the federal government under the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act.
